When I was your age, I had chocolate milk.

Random non-simming topic is slightly random, but I am lurking the news in my area and I just overheard the reporter say they are considering removing flavored milk from our school system.

Flavored milk.

Now, I'm not trying to start a debate. Healthy eating is a great habit to have (though, not something I personally practice.), and it's great they are trying to teach kids how to eat properly.

But...flavored milk?

It'll be weird when I'm an old lady and I can say When I was your age, We had flavors in our milk.
Though, maybe, with the high fat content in milk, I'll be saying "When I was your age, I had milk."

This post is slightly pointless, I don't even drink milk anyway.

  1. My school served hamburgers, french fries, pizza, and chicken sandwiches. I don't think that chocolate milk was their worst problem! :-D

    Very funny!

  2. LOL, Pen, you make me laugh!

Our school did the same thing, Fel. We even had a specialty line where you could go get something different depending on the day of the week..from a giant piece of cheese bread to footlong chili dogs..and taco salads. Our school was so far from healthy. plus we had a soft serve machine and an al-a-cart..which was just junk.
But anyway..that's stupid..what's alittle chocolate in your milk gonna do to you versus all the grease they feed you at lunch.
